Sue Stetner
FOUNDER + LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER
Sue is a Seattle native with a deep-rooted passion for nature, cultivated by her mother’s love for landscaping and flowers. Growing up, her home was always filled with the beauty of fresh blooms. In 1980, she married a farm boy and relocated to Quincy, embracing the sunny side of Washington State. Together, they raised a family of five.
Sue began her career in floral design in 1989, and her creativity has blossomed ever since. She loves nature! Mountains and fields, the desert and sea and anything in between, from there she finds her inspiration. Her favorite kind of day is out in the wilds, gathering up little treasures (pinecones, autumn leaves, moss and flowers) to bring home and create something beautiful.
Sue has successfully passed down her passion to her two daughters, forming what they affectionately call The Forage Sisters. Together, they continue to explore the beauty of the outdoors and create art inspired by the wonders of nature.

Kristin Mead
OWNER + LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER + PLANT GURU
A Quincy girl, born and raised, Kristin is honored to carry on her mother’s legacy of supporting the community with plants and flowers for all occasions of life. She believes each bloom and plant carries beauty, life, and hope. Assisting customers to give these things to others brings her joy.
Kristin began working in the flower shop with Sue in 2001 and completed formal training at Seattle’s Floral Design Institute in 2004. Now, even after many years in the floral trade there are new techniques and styles to learn which makes the job always evolving and interesting. A favorite roll of hers as a Forage Sister is the management of their house plant and cacti collection. Ever since her first cactus garden at age 8, Kristin has been a plant enthusiast. Her long-time wish for a conservatory is now fulfilled with the addition of the shop’s Plant Room.
When not at work, you’ll find Kristin watering her plants at home, spending time over dinner with family and friends, sometimes escaping for walks in the woods or just sitting still watching the sunlight illuminate her surroundings.

Ashley Ko
OWNER + LEAD FLORAL DESIGNER + WEDDING FLORAL DESIGNER
Growing up in her family’s flower shop, Ashley was immersed in the love of flowers and an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. Throughout her career journey, Ashley has explored various paths-working as a hairstylist, delving into interior design and planning weddings- but her heart ultimately led her back to the flower shop, where her passion truly is.
One of Ashley’s greatest loves is wedding floral design. She believes that each wedding is a unique story waiting to be told. Collaborating closely with her brides, Ashley embarks on a journey discovering, listening to their dreams and desires and translating them into breathtaking floral arrangements. Drawing inspiration from the natural world and foraged treasures they collect, she crafts bouquets that encapsulate the essence of each couple’s romance.
When she’s not at the flower shop, you can find Ashley adventuring with her husband, exploring new places, hiking, or whipping up delicious meals together. Her life is a vibrant bouquet of experiences!

Jackie Mead
FLORAL DESIGNER + DELIVERY DRIVER
Jackie, raised in Quincy, spent her childhood on a farm where she learned the ropes of driving tractor and bailing hay from a young age. Her family embraced the outdoors, enjoying camping and boating adventures together. Jackie credits her mother for instilling a sense of creativity and fun in her life, shaping the artistic side she cherishes today. Jackie loves spending time outside, whether it’s walking her two dogs, hiking, biking to gardening in the sunshine. She also loves laughing and playing games and music with her talented husband.
Jackies diverse work experience has brought her to banking, gym receptionist, and baking at a local cafe, but it’s her role as a florist that she holds dearest. Jackie is grateful for her sister-in-law, Kristin, for reigniting her passion for nature and helping her appreciate the beauty in life’s little moments.
For the past four years, Jackie has been a member of the Foraging family, relishing every moment in the shop, learning from the best, and cherishing the rewarding experiences it brings. Exploring floral design and pushing her creative talents daily alongside amazing people makes her feel immensely blessed.

Sheila McCarty
JR FLORAL DESIGNER + DELIVERY DRIVER
Sheila grew up in the heart of Snohomish County, surrounded by the warmth of a tight-knit family. The life lessons imparted by her mother- sewing, baking, crafting, and gardening- instilled in her a deep appreciation for creativity and the joy of cultivating beauty. Today, Sheila lovingly shares these teachings with her own children, passing down the values that shaped her.
After working 10 years in ophthalmology, Sheila embraced the role of a stay-at-home mom shortly after the birth of their first child. It was then that she and her husband relocated to Quincy. During this time she began visiting the local flower shop, where she found herself enchanted by the vibrant blooms and the ever-evolving atmosphere of the shop.
What started as a casual interest blossomed into a creative outlet that ignited her passion for flowers. She finds immense joy in crafting beautiful arrangements, using her background and nurturing spirit to bring life to every arrangement and continue the legacy of growth and beauty she cherishes in her childhood.
